A parent’s guide to nutrition, strength and growing bodies - Fuel their bodies. Build their strength. Support their future.

With Cecilia Selby, NatureDoc Registered Nutritional Therapist and Chloe Hodgson

Date & Time: Friday 26th February  10am–11.30am

Location: Chloe’s Studio, Gagingwell

From busy school days to rugby, football, hockey and cricket, growing children need fuel for both everyday life and the activities they love. So what does good nutrition look like and where does strength and movement fit in?

Join Cecilia and Chloe for a morning exploring how to nourish and support growing bodies, with simple ideas you can put into practice at home. Cecilia will explore children’s nutritional needs for optimal energy as well as bone and muscle health and development. There will be a focus on the key nutrients needed for active children with practical easy ways to get these nourishing foods into everyday meals and snacks.

Chloe will introduce five to six simple strength, core and mobility exercises you can practise with your children at home. With a focus on body awareness, stability and confidence, you’ll explore how to make movement an enjoyable part of family life.

There will be plenty of time to ask questions and discuss the everyday challenges of feeding and supporting active, growing children. Leave with practical ideas, a clearer understanding of your child’s needs and greater confidence in supporting them as they grow.

This event is designed for parents and carers. Children do not need to attend.
