Chocolate tiramisu for breakfast? Yes please! This creamy little pot combines chocolate chia pudding with coffee-infused Greek yoghurt and a dusting of cacao. It feels like such a treat, and it’s so easy to prepare the night before — perfect for a busy morning or when you fancy something a little special.

Makes 1 | Prep 5 minutes, plus a 10-minute rest | Chill at least 2 hours

Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp chia seeds

  • 100ml milk of your choice

  • 1 tsp cacao powder, plus extra for dusting

  • 1 tbsp Ancient + Brave True Collagen,

  • 1–2 tsp maple syrup, to taste

  • ¼ tsp vanilla extract

  • 1 tbsp cooled strong coffee, regular or decaf

  • 100g thick Greek yoghurt

Method

  1. Make the chocolate mixture. In a small bowl, whisk together the milk, cacao, collagen, maple syrup and vanilla until smooth. Stir in the chia seeds until evenly mixed.

  2. Let it thicken. Leave for 10 minutes, then stir again to break up any clumps. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or overnight, until thick and spoonable.

  3. Prepare the coffee yoghurt. Stir the cooled coffee into the Greek yoghurt until combined. If preparing ahead, cover and keep in the fridge until you’re ready to assemble.

  4. Layer your pot. Give the chia pudding a stir, adding a small splash of milk if it’s thicker than you’d like. Spoon into a small glass or jar, alternating with layers of coffee yoghurt.

  5. Finish and enjoy. Dust lightly with cacao or chocolate just before serving, then grab a spoon and tuck in!
