3 ingredient chocolate mousse

A creamy, protein-rich chocolate mousse that takes just minutes to make. Smooth, chocolatey and indulgent.

Ingredients
Mousse
240g cottage cheese
2 tbsp cacao powder
2 tbsp maple syrup
Chocolate shell (optional but delicious)
40g dark chocolate
1 tsp coconut oil
Method
Add the cottage cheese, cacao powder and maple syrup to a blender or food processor.
Blend until completely smooth and creamy (about 30–60 seconds). Scrape down the sides if needed.
Spoon the mousse into a small bowl or glass.
For the chocolate lid
4. Melt the dark chocolate and coconut oil together in a small bowl (either gently over a bain-marie or in the microwave in short bursts).
5. Pour the melted chocolate over the mousse to create a thin layer.
6. Place in the fridge for 10–15 minutes until the chocolate sets.
